Tempted by the next fire, still recovering from the last ones burns
And I know it's true, I use it as an escape
Makes me feel like I'm somewhere, when realittys a dark place
Helping me to deal with the things I don't want to face
Scared I'll be Remembered as a 7 digit number issued by the state
Scared me and death will have a date
Before I get the chance to live beyond my mistakes

If I could, would there be anything I change?
I'm acceptive of what I been through, but theres a few I could name
We all have different ways of dealing with our pain
The day my son got snatched from me, has me feeling like things never be the same
And I mightve use drugs, but God knows that's not the blame
To be a Father I put before anything
But at the end of the day, who's to say what's wrong or right?
Sometimes we have to accept what we can't to have another day to fight
It may be selfish it may not be right
To give someone to take their life
But when you take it from em, what do you think its like?
So I say another prayer, without the answers in my life
Afraid I won't find my way, because darkness has overcame the light
Afraid, I may of went too far this time
If I crossed the line, maybe you should draw the line

If you seen me, and just how bad I act
You would've never guessed I'd be like that
Hurting everyone and destroying the love I have
To the ones who still love me, despite my broken path
But what I done is done ain't no going back

If one day I went too far and the wounds have got to bad
