221 Blu - Lover Boy Interlude

We used to stay in a zone, it's all love Now we changing the tone
What was cute on day one, Set you off to be gone
We not wrong just looking from different angles
Time can change you, grew apart and came back, I'm not the same dude
But love I'm still here for it
From here forward I wanna be the one that you wish for and
If it's in ya heart, dear show it
I'm not a mind reader, I'm a poet... hoping to build so here go it

Dear Lord, I'm not one for praying so I'm saying it
In a conversational way making it plain
Hoping the energy starts making a change
It's on me I understand, not tryna say it in vain
It's a fatal flaw in the game to know all of these things
To want variation and love just the same
But society look at that as people playing it strange
When in fact, over half of us all playing the same
In my brain I can make plenty sense of the feeling
It's different when people opinion and religion get in it
So when it's mentioned, conversations start shifting
The heart stiffens, suddenly that tradition becomes God given
Yeah I'm listening, but the sentiment is truly odd
Scripted like it's written for admission to Juilliard
What I don't get is, if it's cool with your spirit
Then what's the issue with living in ways that's really true to y'all
