We were swimming in the ocean
My mommy and me
Just a laughing, splish splashing

Though most mothers have feet

In the water, like an otter,
She moved gracefully.
With her fins she made a friend
With a dolphin named Steve.
It was magic, truly fantastic
Very special indeed
That my mother was like no other
Parent that you'll ever meet.
