Drexler John - Sunday Drive

I want to see the outside world on a Sunday Drive
To breathe fresh air and sunlight, to survive
Cause I know that we've been home so long
Sitting, eating for oh so long
Despite everything that's happening
But what else can we do, for me and you
Cause all I want is to see the world on a Sunday Drive.
I'm thankful to God that I survived and I'm alive
Some people were not so lucky, and sadly died
Cause the government can be negligent
While some other countries were diligent
We barely made any effort to stop the virus
You'd stay in when the numbers are low
You'd go out when the numbers are high
Cause all I want is to see the world on a Sunday drive.
It seems to me that all they cared about is terrorizing human rights
To protest using our voices is the way to fight
Cause I know that we've been waiting so long
For an action plan that's taking so long
But all we got was taxes and more registrations.
So I wrote this song to express
My huge distress!
Cause, all I want is to see the world on a Sunday drive
All I want is to see the world on a Sunday drive
