The WiZdom G.O.A.T - Solitary Confinement
From the day I began my confinement
In my mind I wrote down my assignments
I knew everyday I just had to pray
To keep the negative energies away
They put me in a Anti-Suicide Smock
They must have thought that my mind was just gonna rot
Well I don't have suicidal thoughts
I'm too strong in this bitch but they never thought
That I would prevail in this jail cell
I'm standing strong on my feet in this jail cell
Every hour that goes by I'm getting stronger now
I feel the depth of my spirit getting deeper now
Hearing the dead messages coming from the walls
Questioning me about survival through the walls
I tell them everything is great and my spirit high
Ruminating everyday until my spirit fly
The WiZdom G.O.A.T can make it smoke in this atmosphere
And in this smoke I made Malcom X reappear '
He stated young man go for your dreams
Protect your soul and don't let the devil intervene
Always stay close to your family
Read up to benefit financially
So I got curious and I asked
What was a book that stood out on your great path
W. E. B. DuBois uttered out his mouth
I asked was that the Doctor that went to the South
Yes that was him WiZdom G.O.A.T
He wrote a book called The Souls of Black Folk
After that Malcolm vanished and the smoke cleared
I sat on a steel bed just to rub my beard
I started thinking about my freedom and that conversation
And when they said Lincoln issued that proclamation
Confinement can't make me or break me
I don't let the negativity take me
These fucking walls can't make me or break me
I'm The WiZdom G.O.A.T prepare for your safety
Levitating in the middle of this jail cell
praying up to the greats so I excel
I'm gonna vanish out this jail cell and prevail
