Dirrty B - Nothing Changed

In the streets of Detroit where I was born and raised
They aint no boring days traveling the Warren way
Before we Started making dollars on the corner paid
We barely made it in a house we can't afford to stay

So when you see them corner boys with they Pockets stuffed
It made you feel like what you making really not enough
We used to ride the bus or take the bicycle
Riding threw the hood weather its summer maybe nice and cold

We Used jump these little fucks if they dont tuck they flags
Bust the guns and every now and then they busted back
Or having All out wars we used to fist fight
No jumping in its one on one we did that shit right

I used to break in mommas room and take her weed stash
Blowing clouds in the Air the finest green hash
Seen the cops coming we dipped from the scene fast
Way before we had a Glock and a ski mask

Now we Older Not a Damn Thang Changed
Now we making money let the Champaign Rain
Still we had to get it out the Mud Detroit never
Changed Only I did from growing Up

Once upon a time In the Ghetto there was a White kid
Good with bars nobody was ever Like his
Me and the Squad used to Congregate like Twice a month
Pop a beat in the boom box and hit the Cypher up

Hear the Gangstaz cruising up the block with 808'S
We did alot of bad shit and never Played it safe
We Emulated what we saw and did it beautifully
With guns in our awisoms it was 2 degrees

Snow falling down from where the Airplanes are we used
Try to lazer beam em at the Fairlane mall we Stole a
Couple outfits and tryed to _Mack with the hoochies my mother
Came to pick us up we riding Back in the hoopty

Murder Mac joy and Southfield with the shifty peeps
Were even killaz rolled 50 deep for Mickey Dee's
This is my history it made my Heart stale
Still reminiscing when we lived on warrren and Archdale

Now we Older Not a Damn Thang Changed
Now we making money let the Champaign Rain
Still we had to get it out the Mud Detroit never
Changed Only I did from growing Up

I never thought I would of made it to the Place I'm at
Me and my brothers used to roam the streets like Maniachs
My FADING PAST no matter what i wouldnt take it back
Taking shots in moms van with the Stainless flask

In a place where the ambulance and Police dont care
If you called for help and ordered pizza they would beat em there
Where Gunshots where the Ambient sound police would
Try to raid the spot but they were Standing they ground we went

School Broke as fuck but we aint really Need much
Momma signed us up for free lunch and a Capri sun
Like G's Up we went to recess Pick em
Fuck em up thats how we would handle any beef stressed

Or Fist Acups a couple times we had to Bring a weapon
In 5th grade in Detroit its hard to Be eleven
We wanna be respected but no one Noticed us
Mostly just the crooks and gang bangers that would Show us love

Now we Older Not a Damn Thang Changed
Now we making money let the Champaign Rain
Still we had to get it out the Mud Detroit never
Changed Only I did from growing Up
