The Glooms - Sour Sabotage

Welcome in and take your seats
We prepared up a delicious feast
With a story to give you the creeps
All about a man you'll never meet
Yeah you've heard of all the citrus fruits
With their broken digging witless roots
And the boy who tried to live his life
But for this, he had to pay a price
He was tending to his lemon tree
Living life as if it's free
But the lemon picking wore him out
So he retired to his comfy couch
And as he laid his head to rest
No one heard the rustling through his nest
As the rotten-headed one appeared
The man of which he always feared
He squeezed and squeezed until he's dead
No citrus left inside his head
And as leaves rustled through the breeze
His life lost and his lemon tree
His lifeless body had no pulp
And his lemon tree, it had no hope
On their broken branches held a note
Never mess with mister cantaloupe
Your lemon tree has withered away
No more seeds can be planted
Now you can only pray
That your Citrus life will be granted
Cantaloupe would never kill
Behind those eyes there shows no thrill
But look deeper in those eyes you'll find
Something rotten and sour inside
