Cultivated and nurtured into maturity

To be counseled and advised among many siblings
Transformed and yet imperfect
As we all go along this path
A winding trail
A circle unbroken of a work of the people
We came, we saw, we surrendered
Gave our stories out like ripe orchard fruit
Juice of sweet nutrients
Gave in the hand of an earth image
Medicinal conversations of live-giving remedy
Cause in the conclave we have come to hear and understand
Life and truth spoke to bear in us an abiding
So we sit in the circle to hear one another
To be heard again
Learning another lesson about living
Our circle is a descent of heart
Ourselves made known among us
A mystery being revealed in our mist
Our circle is a spiral of broken love
