War Wolfe X - Century

Empires, oh Empires everywhere
All throughout the land rule the people don't despair
Governments of all types manifest see
The old way still a Monarchy
Mon-Ar-Chy
Monarchs in their blood make the rules
Kings and Queens rise and fall
Europe stable on the surface from afar
Britain, France, Germany and Russia
United States isolated overseas
Are the main powers but the world is changing
Unrest is on the air again
Because deep within the cities some people are shun
Germany a joint empire with Austria-Hungary
And ethnic minorities remain unseen
Ignored by the ruling class who remain supreme
Pre pre pr pr preme
Supreme
Pre pre pr pr preme
Supreme
Pre pre pr pr preme
Supreme
Pre pre pr pr preme
Austria-Hungary and Germany
Had in place cold ideology
That the ruling class were from a master race
And all others were just peasants a disgrace
And this thinking formed restrictive policy
But not everyone inclined to agree
Turmoil started as a slow simmer
In kingdom that was vast and full of splendor
But what's splendid for some, for others is a nightmare
The slavs, the slavs in particular
Were looked down upon if their not in Serbia
Backed by Serbia they would spark something sinister
Well not sinister in their eyes
Just a way to fight back for justice yea that's right
Austria-Hungary not pleased with all of this
Find out Serbias involved now there's a rift
Europe has enjoyed 100 years of peace
And now its hanging by a thread so thin
Like this
Europe has enjoyed 100 years of peace
And now its hanging by a thread so thin
Like this
It's the 20th century
New intellect is forming
New ways of not conforming
Technology advances liberation is the yearning
Society starts to change discontent
The old ways we are learning
Have no place it's concerning
Only to the ruling class that's in charge
Because the gears of war start turning
Yes the gears of war are burning
They don't believe equal is not a right
They will soon see the people start to fight
Alliances are made for when the peace falls
And territory claimed is soon to be a cause
The nature of warfare will change
Ideologies make it personal to engage
Treaties and conventions set about new laws
On how a war must be waged
It's the 20th century
Cultural advancements
Some countries get along
Other countries make stances
To further their reach
Stabilizing empires
Like access to sea
And resources start fires
But most get along
And still there's some uncertainty
A unified Germany the source of some unease
With the other empires outliers
Like the Ottomans
Spain and Italy
With all this going there's no way they could foresee
A small group and uprising would spark destiny
Austria-Hungary annexed Bosnia
And Herzegovina
Upsetting the power balance in the region
And sparking rage in the slavic nationalist
Who saw the annexation as a slight and a diss
Against their national ambitions
And they will not stand for this
Europe has enjoyed 100 years of peace
And now its hanging by a thread so thin
Like this
Europe has enjoyed 100 years of peace
And now its hanging by a thread so thin
Like this
A Century of Peace
If you could call it peace
A Century of Peace
If you could call it peace
A Century of Peace
If you could call it peace
A Century of Peace
If you could call it peace
Peace
Peace
A Century of Peace
If you could call it peace
The Black Hand in secrecy there formation
Members of the Serbian Army occupation
And all they were seeking was there peoples unification
Freedom from Austria Hungary Germany its suffocation
Assassination was the vehicle the tool
They sponsored others to make the same moves
Young Bosnia they aided in a daring plot
And the thread of peace in Europe would unravel in a shot
Shot
Shot
And the thread of peace in Europe would unravel in a shot
Shot
Shot
Shot
And the thread of peace in Europe would unravel in a shot
A Century of Peace
If you could call it peace
A Century of Peace
If you could call it peace
A Century of Peace
If you could call it peace
A Century
