New York City Trucking - Glass Cockroach

Mother Nature made a glass cockroach
She kept it in the salts of the surf
It was a gift to the techtonics
Many hands would covet its worth

Protected jealously by urchin spider though not to blame
Now protects the fossils of those seeking the same

Where I want is your embrace
We can become every place
Of your electric guardian I'm not afraid
Reflection through your thorax shows the way

Naked skin passing the court panel
Do you feel alive and ashamed
Their screams skip off the beach
Escape is hidden in the waves

Where I want is your embrace
We can become every place
Of your electric garden I'm not afraid

When turned around and shoulders cold
It is to you I will go

When the police show up
We're caught in the float

Do I believe the future
Oh no

When the police show up we bet on the sea
Glass cockroach remains just out of reach
