Brown Tapes - Nomad

You can walk the earth, I need a place to call my own
Habitat essential, I'mma need some space to roam
Creature of habit, stack lumber and stone
Some land that I can work with, and a palace to call my home
Exercise ya freedom by movin' and goin' mobile
Stronger as a unit, but faster when flyin' solo
Find you a real one, down to ride like Chewbacca
Confidently cruisin' and knowin' no one can stop ya
Reach your peace of mind, peace when the stars align
If they tell you that they hate it, they're jealous and probably lying
Around every corner, you're bound to find an adventure
Just a bit too much, no problem, return to sender
Pass you hot potato, it's gettin' harder to hold
You like the weather better when it's hot or it's cold?
The road is getting bumpy and there's nowhere to roll
Sometimes you end up nowhere, if you just go with the flow

It's only couple miles, as the crow flies
Can I save some time by increasing my shoe size?
If moves were that easy, more would be making them
Instead of learning from the leaves, most end up raking 'em
When it's time to flee, they just loosen from the tree
And float gently toward where they need to be
I know it ain't that simple, but just use it as a metaphor
Indirectly caused by nature, followed by the swinging door
In love with the idea before you even see the place
Should be enough to tell you that you're already on your way
Somethings bind us that are beyond our control
It really throws a wrench in the gears of the ebb and flow
It's hard to be spontaneous, the fearlessness it takes
Not to mention fallout and the ripples that it makes
Leave when you ready or buckle in for the stay
Either way remember to pack up the Brown Tapes
