It could come back at the wrong time, that's a harder lesson
I'm sorry, you might be a little more prone to depression
But you're also prone to intelligence and making corrections
You're always in control of how you see yourself
So be careful with how you talk to you

I wasted so much time lying to me on how I felt
Please know you're better than that, and smart enough to tell
I hope a breakup won't make you feel like you have to change
It's okay that you two were just on a different page
Try your hardest but know your worth, and know you're great
