What a year huh?

We got Covid
Been on lockdown
People gripping on to sanity
But they can't hold it
Lives lost, jobs gone, companies in shambles
People not knowing what to do
Grocery stores being trampled
Coronavirus? A pandemic?
Well I guess we better stock up on toilet tissue
Now that one had me scratching my head
I was so confused
See, most of y'all were concerned about having two ply
Instead of being wrapped in the One's arms whose
Word is sharper than a two edged sword and can save yo life
Injustice, police brutality, racism, race against race
Political fights and arguments
People putting more trust in Presidents and government officials
Than in God who is in the highest firmament
To a lot of people on this earth
God is only worth a hand clap and "won't he do it"
Let me tell y'all something
Satan can do it to if that's who you serve
And you don't have to be a murderer for him to be yo ruler
No sight, walking in darkness, the blind leading the blind
This is not how it's supposed to be
We've allowed this network to distance us socially
Faces pierced to the screen
And now we're mad cause it's mandatory
We deserted human connection long before this pandemic
Just wandering shooting stars trying to get an uncontrolled moment of brilliance
That brilliance fades away into nothing
Delivering a brief, aimless and worthless flash
When somebody is giving your eulogy
They will not be talking about the material things you had
Taking a glance at Jesus every now and then will not cut it
HE died and broke that yoke of bondage
So quit being Satan's little puppet
God wants our vision to be better than 20/20 and locked on Him
But we too busy trying to see what they doing over there
Who cares, they ain't die for your sins
My message don't change, just the rhymes He's giving
It doesn't matter where I am or who it is
Matthew 28 vs 18-20 has to be the mission
This world is proof that people don't want Christ
Just Heaven
That's like throwing away the gift
And still hoping you'll get the present
The Truth don't change, but lies do
The Truth will save, I am living proof
Y'all better turn to him before it's too late
And get them cataracts removed
I'm talking about removed from your heart
Cause how you think you made it through 2020 boo boo!
