Son Of Age - A Hint of the Blues

He's a natural deceiver, sales guy with a fake smile
He never met a bar where he could really stay a while
Sitting on a barstool, drinking off his vial
Practicing his sarcastic charms to catch her eye
She thought she could change this wolf into a new man
But she had a better chance being a member of wu-tang
In hopes of romance, dreaming of eternal bliss
She wishes for this when he leans in for a kiss
She imagines a time of a beautiful dream
So she holds to this thing, while he orders a drink
Oh, she's living for the moment, yolo on a whim
What would follow with this thinking, only time will reveal
Until then, without hiding, guards down, she's smiling
Overdose on vodka and loneliness in her system
He turns to face her, hey babe, let's take this even further
She agreed, the sacrificial lamb for the murder

Years later, a few stokes of cigarette vapors
She's older now and harbors a bitter mind frame that's raging
She frequent the bars, a sequence to charred to eventually
Mentally put out the remainder of scars
She met all kind of men, from saints to satan's friends
In the den of sin, descending into her mental realm
They're all the same, they want her bare naked in the plain
So she resolved this in which she's screwing with their brains
They oh so very clueless, all queueing in line
Waiting, kissing her ass, hoping for their time in the limelight
They better start praying hard, reading their bibles
Because they'll never be a messiah, only disciples
She doesn't give a damn, she swears she will never be taken
For a ride, she rather would die, than be a miscreant
Now she's high on life like the buzz from that bottle
Just, one more before it reaches shallow and hollow

Tell me what am I supposed to feel
When I am living in the deepest regrets of hell's torture
Hold me, is another vicious cycle on me
Solely, because I'm hooked on the pain of my failures

He was this young chap with a combination of self-hating
And deprecating, low esteem, humorous behaving
Continues to smoke blunts, goes to club raves
Because of friends taking, some days he wish god would save him
Hovering near the counter to order
He was acutely ignored by this rude fat dude covering all corners
But when he was about to give up, ending his night out
A gorgeous woman said hi, can I buy you a drink right now?
He was taken by surprised, doesn't she know
I'm a poor tragic kid wearing raggedy-ragged clothes
But they took a chance, felt like he was a new man
So intense was his soul, like his feet wanted to dance
That night, they checked in a hotel, like sex sells
Like their body were intertwine hotter than hell
The next morning, hung-over, he was awaken by the sun
Totally naked, alone, she was gone, on the run
