Truth Among Ashes - A Perfect World

This world that we reside, I watch it steadily decline
We're reaching lows so deep, the speed of light could never reach
We cannot feed our children, we've no shelter to keep clean in
We, like you are human, why don't we get human treatment

I want to build something new
For us to live in solitude
A place we've never seen
A world of ours, for us to keep
Where all can be free

Maybe in a perfect world, we would be more certain of
All that is, and what's to come

Construction has begun, the walls all rise, and soon it's done
The doors are open and the people now are flooding in
Among our populous reside our planets very best
We'll feed the future with the thoughts of all the greatest minds
We are ascending far above all we thought possible
The heights that we have reached are nowhere near the top
We will rise time and time gain, we will never relent
Our course is set in stone, and nothing will deter our path
