Harry Adams - Asteroid Belt

Home on my asteroid belt
I am the smallest one
My family and friends
Are orbiting around god knows what
Home on my asteroid belt
Stardust and blocks of ice
We could sleep all day
In outer space it's always night

One day my orbits starts to shift
I looked up and saw a full lunar eclipse
I tried to catch a glimpse
I thought holy shit, and my gravity slipped
And as I floated out to space
I turned back to my family and waved
I won't forget her face
I looked back and my mama says

Don't go out alone
Space and really big
And you are on your own
Oh don't go out alone
Space is really cold
And you have nowhere to go

I gained speed on my galactic tour
Grew a tail now I'm a meteor
I shed those rocks and dust
I don't need them anymore
Twenty trips around the sun I turned
Felt like it was time to crash and burn
Without my feelings hurt
I headed straight towards planet Earth

So through the atmosphere I swam
A blue and green target of where to land land
Without a map in hand
I pointed towards Yucatan

And I rolled in alone
As I inhaled
My first breath of ozone
Yeah I rolled in alone
Blissfully unaware
Of the life below
