Chris Hooks - Black Excellence

I won't make it past 25, i got a feeling
That i'll have my last meal, before i make my first million
Cause i started from the bottom, from the basement to the ceiling
And ima stand for what i believe in, like Kaepernick kneeling
We got racism, they hate women, and the police won't stop killing
Like, who we supposed to call, when we're in danger or go missing
If the police pull me over, then i pray i get a ticket cause
Next thing that i know, the police swear that i'm resisting
They're supposed to the heroes, look, man, i don't get it
Cause now it's like our heroes, done turned into a villain
Like, they want us all to lose, because we winning and we living
And if your a black man, then you know our time is ticking
It seems like the white man, hate us, man i don't get it
I know it's not every white man, yeah, i get it
You do everything you hate black people for, you hypocritting
You act like there can't be a world, with both of us existing
All we need is love, man that's all that i know
You tell us go back where we belong, i swear that's y'all favorite quote
We was, minding our business, til y'all came thru with the boat
And then after that, for blacks, it was murder she wrote
Then you teach your kids to hate, man i got enough on my plate
Like really, why do they care if i'm black or i ain't
If i'm gay, or i'm straight
Or if i come from your state
We need more love and less hate
We all need to congregate
Get the hate out the way
Man, at this rate, i just pray
That the hate goes away
We'll be the US of A
If i'm the one that you hate
I have nothing to say
But if i die today
I hope that you at the gates
I know that God made me, so that mean that i'm heaven sent
So everyday i stand upon this earth, man i'm gon represent
Cause anything i do, i'm gon be great. man it's so evident
That's all facts, with no printer, cause i don't need no evidence
If you look at my life, man i can show you what these blessings did
And that's not even all, cause i'm waiting for the rest of it
When i get to heaven, dawg i hope that i might have some residence
Cause the way this country going, we might have to be like Exodus
Shout my black king and queens, we part of black excellence
They wanna hate us, but we know that their hate is irrelevant
We combat their hate, and overwhelm them with benevolence
Tell em have a blessed day, while we remain in our elegance
We gotta take a stand, even if we have to stand against
Speak our blessings in existence, then you know we let it manifest
This world is temporary, i can tell, man it's so evident
Can tell, by all these people following this stupid president
