Guty - Blank Cassettes

Rest In Peace Ben
I know you're watching over me bro
I know you see me
I hope I'm making you proud

I used to take blank cassettes and record songs off the radio
This back in '96 'fore Ben would let me use his stereo
To record whole CD's had me stuck on all Pac stuff
Back then was just a kid on the block yellin' Watts Up!
I'm from Watts yup We All Taught To Survive
Didn't act tough but I wasn't scared to fight
That's around the same time when I first started to write
Bust out my headphones pencil & paper and stayed up all night
Writing rhyme after rhyme one line at a time
Would press play hear a bar then press pause and then rewind
Then repeat the same process over and over till the verse was
Finished then would spit it along with Pac till the words was
Cemented in my spirit, mind, body, and soul
Been in me since the beginning of my life to write this cold
Be nice with flows it was written long before
The Lord knew I'd need an outlet to cope
With this storm thats been pouring since shortly after I was born
Don't no person on earth deserve to hurt this way not along with
Being alone yea when I leave here I'll be home then
This is hell its okay to miss me sis but please don't mourn me
