Manny Maye - Book of Rhymes

It's me and my book of rhymes
One page at a time
I flesh out everything on my mind
Pen all my verses in blood
Broke many bones so my hooks could set in stone
Tears fall here
My spirit in my rhymes
Dropped sweat so my bars could hit hard here
Haven't slept
My soul won't sit still
Last time I use the pen is when I final my will
100k to my mama
100k to my girl
Leave my estate to my kids
As I leave from the world
Won't bounce till I'm done giving my best
Anything less is rough patches
Test from God
That I'm passing
Improving in my passion
Improvise in times when I ain't have it
Stuck in rubble
Ain't have shit
Remained passive
I Thought to look past it
As I'm progressing mad quick
I'm looking to cause havoc

And the beat keep going

And the beat keep going

Hone my skills in these verses before I move any further
From studying albums to rhyming that you never heard of
Schemes that you could only dream about
I'm tryna stack cheddar
an obscene amount
Alcohol in my system
I'm dirty dancing with Diana
Thinking of how to make this moment forever
Through my written persona
I'm writing of different realities
New thoughts and mentalities
My vision blurred by this clarity
Can't you clearly see?
My poetic portrait on fire
Tainted with some drink
Like a match to some kerosene
And I can hardly breathe
I hope through all this carnage you can finally see
The man that I am bound to be
The crown is bound for me
The throne is where I'm bout to be
These rhymes are bound to me
Arm leg leg arm head
Turned out to be
Embodiment of manny
iller than they'd ever be
Verses super full of repartee
My Repertoire immersive
Perform in my city or in your local churches Choose your position
Inflicting verbal violence throughout my composition
With my lyrical ammunition
Aftermath of it was written

And the beat keep going

And the beat keep going

Reaching my last pages
I'm finding all of these dark places I never speak about
All the pain that I refrain from talking bout
Thinking whats gone happen when this book come out
All the pages all the verses all the things that I been rhyming bout
All the stories all the love and all the pain put out
Should I put it out?
Am I in too deep?
Are my rhymes too deep?
Intellectually speaking
is my mind too deep?
Well nigga you tell me
I'm running thin on pages
but now you gone see
My book of rhymes the book of life
Full of trials and strife
But you win before the end after seeing the light
I'm shining it bright
Hope you listening properly
I'm giving apart of my realist estate as I turn over this property
You'd hardly see the image if you wasn't living the rhymes that I'm writing
If you didn't and you listen then I hope it's inviting
To the life that I'm sighting
Bringing hope and excitement
Feel the rhymes that I'm writing
Take the time to enlighten
Your mind as you listen to my book of rhymes
One page at a time
