Lil JJ Reynolds - Broken Demon

He's a broken demon from the dark
Coming out into the light to speak his feelings
From when he suffered in the dark
And now there's no stopping him cause he's broken
Let's go
A broken demon from the gutter crying tears out
Paranoia from life, that's what he fears now
Kept a pistol by his hip, the only thing he could trust
Cause when it came to wildin' out, his gun was ready to bust
He had no fun growing up, his childhood would get tough
When he met satan in his misery that locked him in cuffs
He got sick of being treated like the last rate
In this society, he prayed but he lost faith
And found mistakes that he thought he buried away in his past
He felt embarrassed in public cause all they did was laugh
He asked God, "was there any hope for the outcast?"
"Or should he blow his brains out to see a dark flash?"
He hated things, but he hated the school the most
Cause he felt stupid when his teachers asked his brain to diagnose
He saw no kind of future for his life to surpass
Depression signed a deed to kill him so his life would get bashed
He felt alone, but he knew that he was all that he had
Cause everyone, including family, would stab him in the back
His anger drew a sketch and turned his heart black
It made him gather all his feelings and turn 'em into raps
The demon's bout to snap cause he don't know how to react
To life's situations that would quickly attack him
He wanted happiness, but the pain would run up and smack him
And so many critics waited in line when he started rapping
He felt his red heart turning black near the coldness
Respect was never given to him, so he just stole it
He used to be happy but satan said that was old shit
That had to be replaced with the hopeless, now he's a
Broken demon
Broken demon
Broke, broke
Broken demon
Broken demon
Broke, broke
He was once a human that was innocent
And had plans and dreams that were growing in his head
But life didn't go as planned for him
He started falling in love with the darkness and got addicted to it
And now he's a demon, spreading flames from his anger
That changed his personality for the better of his lyrics, but for the worse for his feelings, ya
Another, another, another, another day passed by, but he wanted to die
From his failures, his biggest one was working 9 to 5
At his job that he hated cause the pressure in his eyes
Saw people multiply near his brain that was shy
Anxiety would step in between and intervene
With his kindness to kill it, so it wouldn't be seen
Now all his anger would haunt him like an evil phantom
For his attraction to be the opposite of handsome
He snapped cause the pills that he shoved down
Was not enough for his feelings to crack a real smile
He put the blame on himself and would ask everyday
Why he was born here to feel this way and couldn't break
Bipolar didn't care what he said or how he felt
Striking pain to his brain that would mess up his health
He was a prisoner inside his head, trapped in a cell pod
For him to break the pieces of his future to dwell on
What should of been and what he could of did that would break his
Excruciating past and replace it with greatness
But time was his biggest enemy that would break him
More quicker than his heart ever did, as a Manson
His peoples didn't try to help to fill up the spaces
From when they disappointed him and lied to his face
It destroyed him, mentally, and physically, he was beat
He couldn't sleep and barely had an appetite to even eat
He saw his whole life flash right through his eyes
All his sins made him paranoid next to his pride
He wondered if he'll spend eternity with God in the sky
Or spend it with the devil and his lies, to be alive as a
Broken demon
Broken demon
Broke, broke, broke, broke
Broken demon, (broke, broke), broken demon, (broke, broke)
Broke, broke
That's the story of the demon's life
All the pain and disappointment that he had to endure
Life isn't what it's propped up to be
Some of us have to struggle, until we are deceased
For no happiness to come in between
Which makes us get on our knees and pray for death to intervene
He's a broken demon, he's a broken demon, gone
