Lyssa True Poet - Cain N Abel
First trained to be robotic
The story how one note turned sonic
A simple seed grew indeed call me chronic
And I'm
More potent than any strand you smoke
Stronger than any feeling you can emote
It took a lifetime
At least that's what it seem
To figure how to keep my eyes open
While I dream
Now I referee the game
Know the rules will never change
Y'all can stay up in your lane
I'm in the clouds with no plane
On the tracks with no train
Destination is to gain
Respect for this poetry
Leaking out my veins
Here to water call me rain
Or the storm that will follow
Fully conscious
Even when my shell turns hollow
This body is only temporary
I'm well aware of what's to come
So I'm never weary
Fully prepared I know death on its way
We all up next
Like a bridesmaid that catch a bouquet
Trying to figure out where I go from here
Create my own path
Making sure the coast is clear
No longer barely existing I got to live
Go for what I want
It's either sink or swim
I'm a risk taker
Number one dictator
See it in my vision
Then I live it stacking big paper
No comfort unless I'm stable
Murder opposition just like Cain did to Abel
Second round dropped the ball
Still had learning to do
Success ain't overnight
Too many bills overdue
Thoughts crowded barely time for self care
I'm institutionalized, broke the cycle
Uncovered truths hidden in they lies
I'm on the rise, like I'm made of helium
Test me I never run
Spitting image of the sun
I got the same power
Mind orbit every hour
Soaking up the energy of galaxies
I build towers
Structures you cannot copy
VIP section while y'all waiting in the lobby
Y'all Bonnie Clyde
I'm more Whitney and Bobby
Exhaling that wasabi
On a beach with my Brasilian mami
There's ambition in my soul
Always overcome the pressure
My threshold withstand
More wind then you could measure
Search within for hidden treasure
Trust yourself for the answer
Self doubt in remission like it's cancer
Trying to figure out where I go from here
Create my own path
Making sure the coast is clear
No longer barely existing I got to live
Go for what I want
It's either sink or swim
I'm a risk taker
Number one dictator
See it in my vision
Then I live it stacking big paper
No comfort unless I'm stable
Murder opposition just like Cain did to Abel
Once upon a time
I had no sense of self to acknowledge
I relied on things I was programmed to believe
Tried to burry me not knowing I'm a seed
I couldn't breath
Suffocated by false information
Traced my ancestors from my original nation
Now full of inspiration
I strive to spread love and motivation
To be the brightest star in any constellation
Dead any beat like murder my occupation
Guess we'll see what's next to happen
I remain a true poet
Could care less about rapping
