Avey Tare - Cloud Stop Rest Start

Colors in brawl. In a meditation fit. Sometimes i get caught in the middle of peace (ing). How does one get through the all? I didn’t know and i was young you helped me find a way out of my crawl. When kisses were everything. The currency of couples. And shoes will get you where you’re going. Without much in the pocket. And songs had more light than the sun and said more than our leaders. They showed me how to change the mood.

I was in a cloud, not up in the sky but deep inside all muffled. And i saw a version of me that i thought was torn and unsound. So i got in a cloud stretcher and i thought that i was healing. And woke up believing that everyone could have that dream.

And soldier, did you feel so small?
And soldier, did you dream real pain?
And soldier, did you climb up to the highest high?
did you holler at the earth?

Basics are all you ask. It was customary and what you do for a fan. Who would never even know you. I’ll meet you at your rest start. Lost the words and it's not healthy. Beached with everything you know. Relics of the war between you and winning. Better off like a ghost snug in the bookshelf. Only haunting when you’re read. And the feelings a page turner. Dime map from the dead.

There is a valley only i can see if i am empty. Off to the city went the country and it was beaten and torn down. Oh American Stranger is it always like this? losing the things to spikes and the ups and downs.

And soldier, did you feel so small?
And soldier, did you dream of real pain?
And soldier, did you climb up to the highest high?
did you holler at the earth?

Wind slows on my clothes
Wind slows there i blows
