Sounds of Faces - Dinosaurs Looking for Food
Well home it helps me take my time
Between these walls of full confine
I strum some tune that's been around
Strum nothing new and put it down
Used to take one listen layer on
And nudge the waveforms until dawn
Now I strum some tune that's been around
And thumb right past a newfound sound
My thoughts they don't make melodies lately
My wants are based on paydays hasty
My verse it has been coming out gloopy
My asks lately are sputtering soupy
Have I fried myself silly
All frizzled burnt and soggy cold?
My hurt is humble but it's hating
I ask for a decent high again
One day, there was a big and hungry T-rex
And he growled "I'm off to find some food!"
So off he stomped
Then, a Triceratops and a Stegosaurus saw him
And they said "What are you doing?"
And the T-rex roared "Well, I'm going off to find food! You'll like to join me, right?"
And they both bellowed "Yes, yes we'll love to join you!"
So off they trotted
Then, they met a Quetzal swooping through the sky
And it cried "What are you doing here!?"
And the Spinosaurus roared "Were off to find food!"
And the Quetzalcoatlus said "I'd love to join you!"
So down it swooped and joined
Then, they met a big, big Diplodocus
And it hollered "What are you guys doing here, all the way in the Food Land?"
"That's where we were trying to go!" they all screamed, "Yayyyyy!"
And off they trotted to find their supper
That was the end of Dinosaurs Looking for Food
I hope you enjoyed listening
Bye, hope I see you next time
