I’ve been drifting through my days
Through a carnival of fire

We were introduced as friends
I was caught up in their world
I was so much older then
There are things that I should say
Like, “I’d leave it all for you.”
But my senses fly away
I can tell it’s time for a brand new start
Waiting for the summer to change my heart
I’ve been waiting for the sun
I came through the storm and it made me brave
I’ve been sailing high on the breaking waves
And I’m falling towards the one

I know it’s only been three days
