This whole journey wasn't apart of my wish list
Sitting firmly at my party knowing that I'm gifted
Sipping whiskey rooms not busy but these people witnessed
Me perform for the first time my future shifted
People were so shocked they could not believe it
Everything had popped off you'd think I was dreaming
My 18th was no longer full of time keeping
But by the end of the night I was already steaming
But since that point so much has been taken place
I should rejoice but I can't seem to of late
This fear that's taking over me it must be a mistake
But it's blocking my mindset and it's really hard to shake
Maybe it was calculated, calculated
This whole time I've been calibrated, calibrated
Just so that I, cannot break it, cannot break it
Maybe I can be filled with amazement, with amazement
The songs that I've put out have just been baby steps
But I cannot afford to slow down as of yet
Competing with myself is my own form of stress
I've been concentrating on new tunes like I'm on a test
Underrated an understatement but here we are
Non complacent my whole life, now ain't the start
Adjacent to the mic, like benches at a park
Lowlifes have been sleeping on me thinking I can't be arsed
Dad left, picked up insecurity's I'm like a package
I keep on pushing myself to get through this savage
World that we live in has given me nothing but damage
Maybe I'm the one to make a difference with this language
But the tissue is broken and permanently scarred
Humans have always been an issue won't pull apart
Maybe they need time to digest, like these bars
Pulling an artery out of your calf and for your heart
I've trained my brain receptors to stop feeding negativity
Maybe everybody can get on the same wave as me
Even all the people causing others to bleed
Mentally or physically either way we proceed
Cause I'm out here trying to help people find themselves
I smell fear from us introverts we all need help as well
I come clear on all of my tracks never wanna sell myself
We need to change our mental cause it will be filled with doubt
Either you can change or you can feed off it
And what I mean by that is you can express the topic
Through art, music or anything to fight the conflict
Turn it into a passion you might come out with something
