Henri and the Fearsome Spinning Cosmos - Glimpse of Eternity

I unfocus, sit and stare
Shadow of something there
Out of the corner of my eye
Where sleeping dragons still lie
These things with all their reasons why

All the world trapped in my head
All connections between things said
Everything I've ever seen
All these touching, tasting dreams
All the sounds from where I've been

I am the thinnest part of my soul
Collecting tears in a bowl
Feel my warmth
As it starts to snow
I trail away
As the wind starts to blow

I beg for alms on harbor street
All the stories that I meet
Sending driftwood off to sea
Like an ancient navy fleet
The courage it takes just to be

I scrape this brush against the wall
It later flakes like leaves in fall
I'm a glimpse of eternity
So much tininess in me
As I contain everything

I am the thinnest part of my soul
Collecting tears in a bowl
Feel the warmth
As I starts to snow
I trail away
As the wind starts to blow
