Mark Cummins - Gone Lefty

I woke up this morning with a crazy thought in my head
Checked all systems--go! and rolled out of bed
I knew it was time to try something new
So I made up my mind about what I was gonna do

Went down to the corner, it's a beautiful day
Got a cup of coffee, "make mine black, s'il vous plait"
I picked up my guitar, it's time to play
But this time I think I'll try it another way

Just a little change and it feels so strange
I'm using my left hand and it's really hard
Never knew I could, do it so good
I'm using my left hand to play my guitar

I'm learning a new trick, throwing caution to the wind
I'm changing my password, and resetting my pin
I'm going to a place where I've never been
And it feels so good, I may never go back again

Some might say I'm brave, some might say depraved
A few might even say all I need is to be saved
But every now and then I like my road unpaved
And break out of the mental chains that keep us all enslaved

Just a little change and it feels so strange
I'm using my left hand and it's really hard
Never knew I could, do it so good
I'm using my left hand to play

Just a little change and it feels so strange
I'm using my left hand and it's really hard
Never knew I could, do it so good
I'm using my left hand to play my guitar
