Offended - Heaven's Eye

There was a man
He constructed the universe
With his tears
And his fingers which gave out control
And in the night
When no one could look on his works
He hung around
To see what his people did

His only eye
Working for all of the time
Heaven's eye
Watching us closely at night
And when he saw
That someone was in pain
He just watched
He left them to suffer

It watches you
It watches me

What will they do
Now that I have robbed them of their sins

They watch from chairs
Reclined just so
Staring at their screens in hope they'll catch somebody
Then stop them breathing
Remove the right
To allow them to walk free among the rest

I can't believe in this day in age
That all the time we must be stalked wherever we go
I think it's crazy
But then again maybe not

The clock is ticking
You must go
Run as far away from here as possible
It won't be long
