Vestals - Holy Wars

Xenophobic
Justifying the lives they take
In the name of their God

Crusades through the world
Reaping and taking
Blood of the pure on their hands

War and famine
Made for the rich mans pockets
Starving those in need
No man standing
Launching their bombs and rockets
Watching the world bleed

We are better than all of this hate
Nor subjected to this darkened fate

Tearing down the world
Blinded by their own greed
Slaughtering all the innocuous as they force mankind on their knees

Tyrants repressing the feeble and banal
Behind the writ of their maker
Zealots with delusions of grandeur and sovereignty
Fondling the chaste with wicked hands

Our progeny have come undone
Lost to bloodshed, they will never come home
A garden of caskets
Hollow and destitute
Everything they cared for
All left behind

Tearing down the world
Blinded by their own greed
Slaughtering all the innocuous as they force mankind on their knees

And all will die the day the sirens howl behind napalm skies

The chauvinists
They coven the world under their thumbs
Our skies bleed black
Smoldered with smoke from their bombs

The bastards
Bending our will
For dominion

Their Holy Wars
Fought with the lives
Of poverty's children

Tearing down the world
Blinded by their own greed
Slaughtering all the innocuous as they force mankind on their knees
