My Covenant - Humbled

I often leave
A little more confused than I came
But only I’m to blame
So I’ll sink my feet
Into this sand
And I swear I won’t leave until
I understand
It’s right then
That I feel a tug at my hand
When I stand next to the ocean I feel so small
It makes me wonder if I’m relevant at all
Am I relevant at all?
Because I just feel so
Small
I can see my seconds turn into days
And I can’t help but feel like I’m fading away
No I don’t suppose
That time would ever slow down for me
So soon I’ll just be
This world’s faded memory
When I stand next to the ocean I feel so small
It makes me wonder if I’m relevant at all
So I'll try to ask
But I only mumble
And when I try to walk by faith
I stumble
I always stumble
I’m constantly humbled
This life makes me feel like
I’m just a drop in the ocean
Am I just a ripple
Being tossed in commotion
