Yesterday i wrote an album of songs
Telling all of what i've beeen
Some folks will listen to the songs
And wonder where on earth i've been

But that's alright

Sometimes you say it as it is
Without a hidden veil or twist
It may worry some who cannot see
So i sing this song to say that

Because those days i was in a rut
Not knowing what the mind would conjure up
I just got tired of the stress and strife
So i vowed to seek a new inner life
It doesn't mean we don't have those bad days
Cos thats the game of life that you play
So long as we know its not meant to be
Living out a time other to please
So for you i sing this same old song
For you all

So listen, listen to the truth
The words i only sing not say
Then your frown will turn to smiles
Its all been so worthwhile today
