We give a clown the crown
The clown starts making sounds
And people listen

People join in a chorus designed to un-shore us
Spreading falsehood and rumours like cancerous tumours

The lies metastasise
People take their sides
As reality dies
I feel no surprise
Because I'd opened my eyes
And see it coming
Epistemological congestion
Truth now merely a suggestion
But how do you tell the world it's going to hell
When you don't believe in hell?

I see a world where wrong is right
Day is night
Down is up
Where we're fucked
Where it's considered treason to use our reason
And objective claims are considered insane
Information sources all distorted
That everything is "fake news" is the most fake news reported!
