Mommy Pants - In God We Fuss

When we were kids we used to have fun
Then the government helped ruin everyone
'Cause we had to do what was told
At least we thought so when we got old

Some of us were used to it 'cause of strict parents
Others were even more shocked
Despite warnings a few sent us

Now some might find it not all bad
'Cause the Constitution gave us things we never had
But so much power is more than abused
How can you feel you're never being used

I find it okay to amend
Things that are way for the better
In this day my friend
We should see though what has worked
History has lessons if decent brains do research

So if you even vote find first a fair balance
When talking it out how about no verbal or physical violence
Guess part of me is being too optimistic
Only truth I know is many will never get this

I don't know everything about history
Some shit I learned I know was biased
One day the universe will be history
But then it'll repeat itself, I'm gonna' start crying

I think it's gonna' be alright, I can only hope so
Faith is all I have to help me fuckin' grow
