Subliminal Spectrum - In This Moment

Trying to hard as usual
Nothing creative is generated
Each thought is incinerated
Ten thousand pages all crumbled and placed in a wastebasket, feeling humiliated

The struggles of a wannabe, would he be, could he be
Probably not and that's almost most certainly
Always the answer, in hallways the dancer
Pushes the boundaries, makes it expansive

Post it note masterpiece, fauvist disaster piece
Strength of the color, draws out the deep faculties
Vision is bare, novice in stature, legend in fair
Head in the air

The potence of hoping seeps up from the ocean
Filtered through a billion grains of sand
Reaching down into it, sift through the grit
Comes back up with a pearl in his hand

Unspoken, the tension is building
The senses are filling, each sentence more thrilling than the last
Punctuate, truncate, disturbing the flow
A checklist of things that I think you should know

God is love and he has blessed us with beauty
We should treasure each gift the He's given us truly
Verily, verily, living life merrily
Filled to the fullest extent

Upward spiral, a concrete ascent
Our stairway to heaven, our senses are bent
Turned skyward, the clouds are our tent
Mountains our footstool, breathe is the wind, feeling content

I'm taking it in, feeling the clarity
Making amends, congealed in prosperity
Spirit is free, and that's all I'm seeking
Out here on the sea, let me be a beacon
