This is my introduction
And this one can be for you
There's no warning sign on this cover or explicit content to discover
But be prepared cuz life gets rough and I'm about to uncover a package of 11 poems
I've written for all of you
This is my first project but I feel like I've been writing forever
And truth is my life is pretty dark
It gets a little scary from time to time I mean who's doesn't
But as much truth there is not that
Theres more truth about that light that we all came to discover
And it's the light that lives forever
So
I'm here to speak about my creator
Cuz I've been there right where you are too
And I want you to know him and love him like I do too
Staring out far into that deep ocean blue
Thinking about the plans God has for you
Is He a God that grants wishes
Or a God that clears blemishes
You answer that one
Cuz I know that I don't serve a jinni in a bottle
Or someone who laughs at me as I continue to run
Cuz the biggest lie is that all he wants is a smile on our face
That you can do whatever you want once you have taken the new place
And that worship is just a hobby and something you look at once a day
Like your shoe lace
And If that's what you think I'm gonna speak about today
Then you don't have to continue listening cuz this may not be for you
But i'm here to find joy in the trial and to never cease from pursuit
This is my introduction to you
To encourage you to
Face the continuation of progression
To know that you don't have to live a life of depression
And to make a very important decision
Being transformed
Like a wave that builds into the beach
Where it crashes and finds rest in its own unique direction
A positive complexion
A brand new frame of mind
Let's speak of his love that splashes over those who abide
His children whom he's brought with him on the ride
To abide
In his Presence like a title wave that explodes in strength like no other kind
This is my intro to you
Not to tell you that everything will be perfect all the time
But that there's a way to be made brand new
And I know that a life without Christ may be easy and it's hard to cling to the truth
Cuz I've swam in places like the dark obis
I've been stuck in crevasses that seem unbearable
I've drinkin' from the cup that never ceases to taste like piss
I've ran away
Jumped out
Stepped back
And swam fast from the sharks that haunt my seas
But the one that lovingly chases after me will never decease
Then why do I have choppy seas
I hope I answer that question in my writings so please
Listen and worship the Lord who gave us the ability to do so
Through sun shine and rain
I wanna learn how to cling to him and sustain
Forcing darkness to flee
And I think I may feel some of your pain
So I think I finally wanna talk about it with you today
And this is my introduction to you
