My father, the late Dr. Professor Cruelty
Mr. Marco Aurelio Satyro, was born in Brasil on February 4th, 1962
And he was a character from the get go
Exceptionally intelligent, he taught himself English
And dreamed of moving to England
Becoming a subject of the Queen
And piloting fighter jets for the Royal Air Force
Unfortunately, his vision Hindered his ability to fly
So he instead became a chemical engineer and thermodynamicist
He met my mother shortly
Before accepting a job at Hyprotech in Calgary in the late 80s
They were smitten with each other
And a few months after he moved to Canada
She followed him and they became citizens
I joined the family on Monday, July 2nd, 1990...
