As the Lord said to Joshua
I have given Jericho into your hands
And the mighty men of valor

You shall march around the city
This will you do six days
And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets before the ark of God

Proceed and march around the city
The city of Jericho
And let him who is armed advance before
The ark of the Lord

Now Joshua commanded the people saying
You shall not make noise until
The day I shout for you to shout
And then the people will shout

On the seventh day they rose early
And marched around seven times
Then Joshua said to the people shout
For the Lord has given you the city

Now the city was doomed to destruction
Then the wall of Jericho fell down
Then they destroyed the city and all that was in
And Joshua's fame spread throughout the land
