You know, I spend a lot of time thinking about my life
The moments that pass and those to come
And yet I always find myself here
See, life has taken me to this turning point
The music I create has caused me to explore the innermost thoughts
Seeing the good, the bad, and the ugly
I guess it's all a part of the bigger picture
Being able to see beyond where you are
Making yourself vulnerable enough to sit with the worst thoughts and come out on the Other side, bigger and better
Not flawless, but looking through the flaws seeing the beauty in us
I guess you could say thoughts are like the greatest mirror we'll ever look into
But don't get so trapped in what you see, and miss the one lesson we should learn on This Earth
That lesson can be found in good thoughts
The ones that bring us to love
Love ourselves and love others
That's what we're here to do, right?
