Manny Maye - King's Decree

What's the hottest commodity on your market
God forbid
But If you had to sell yourself
What exactly ya gon' start wit
Don't be short tell me detail
Negotiate your value like it's retail
Buying your lust for the vanity
Hoping your soul value go up in resale
No contact
Hit my phone
Just Leave a voicemail
Took a hiatus
Now the haters think it's over for me
It'd be rude of me to start and end before I'm 20
But It'd be worse if they got a response from me
Finally got me to break
Stripping my strength from me
Lash hate against my face
Lock shackle and chain on me
Bury me and throw stone on me
So I refrain from the back and forth
Still a padawan
But like them cops say
I'm not afraid of using force
Studying pyramids in Egypt
Before I fly to Rome Talking
War tactics with leonidas in his catacomb

Genome of a king
Shalom to the people
Listen to my words close
This the knowledge that I loan to my people
My sermon as I stand atop the steeple

Emancipating all of the proclamations
They been making
Pain galore
When the blades drawn then it's war
Not time for civil bluffs
Delving deeper in my mind in thought of the simple stuff
Less Lennon more Da Vinci
My optimism itching for more time
As I'm nearing on my prime
12 pessimists that I'm teaching to fully believe in my rhyme
At the table as some Christians sipping on some fine wine
After prayer I'll turn the people to believers in no time
From Sicily to the projects my projection got no lines
Even if Donald was ducking assassinations
And had all the soldiers waiting
I would still knock borders down with these punchlines
Frequently I been thinking without emotion
Pay attention to frequencies bringing all the commotion
Alternating the mission to further deeper with notion
Of perpetrating the frequency with negative devotions
So now I ask
How much a dollar cost?
Is it enough for you to be stuck in a life of loss?
Is it enough to replace all the memories you lost?
Is a dollar in your savings enough of a replacement for the happiness with all of the stress it's brought?
I'm asking now so these questions won't be an afterthought
I hope the dollar is enough for your satisfaction since love and purity wasn't one of your thoughts of action

Genome of a king
Shalom to the people
Listen to my words close
This the knowledge that I loan to my people
My sermon as I stand atop the steeple
