Thanatorture - King Ov Hell

Please, allow me to introduce myself
I'm the infamous king of Hell
So glad for a Messiah
To add some fuel to the fire
Be not afraid, step into my lair
Fill your lungs with sulphur air
You think you know all about me
But I was never your enemy

Inside, a voracious fire
To guide, chide, spur and inspire
Decided my future, forever and ever
Rather king of Hell than slave in Heaven

I crawled on my belly, I slid and I slithered
Till the flowers of Eden dried up and withered
I lived in the shadows, I watched and I waited
Till Adam and Eve could be tempted and baited
Suggested to Eve, considered naïve,
To taste fruit forbidden and wisdom receive
I whispered to Able, while rocking his cradle
I taught Cain about bis brother's "betrayal"

Inside, a powerful darkness
Which cannot be hidden, cannot be harnessed
Decided my future, forever and ever
Rather king of Hell than slave in Heaven

I planted deception watching it flourish
The only one living destined to perish
For I was awakened and I wasn't dreaming
Alone, I would witness the innocent screaming
I fell through the heavens, the outcast pariah
Sentenced to suffer forever in fire
Banished from Eden: Hell was my prison
But Hell couldn't hold me: I have arisen

I am the Nemesis
I am the Judas kiss
I am the black abyss
I am the jagged knife
I am the anti-life
I am the lord of strife
I am the thirst for gold
I am the truth untold
I am the stranglehold
I am the god of war
I am the pool of gore
I am the evermore
I am the painful truth
I am the misled youth
I am the bloody tooth
I am the voice of doubt
I am the inside out
I am the final drought
I am the whispered word
I am the frenzied herd
I am the undeterred

Inside, a harrowing yearning
That keeps the brutal hellfire burning
Decided my future, forever and ever
Rather king of Hell than slave in Heaven

Christ, one thing you need to know
I'm not your Nemesis, I'm not your foe
I speak the truth, I am condemned
My enemy's enemy is always my friend
I watched you being dehumanized
Overheard his malicious lies
Did you ever question your fate
Why you had to suffer and why you had to die
