Tiptoe Giants - Little Seedling

I found a little seedling
Just in time for spring
I put it in a pot of soil
To see what it will bring
I give it a drink of water
And let the sun shine bright
And soon my little seedling starts
Climbs towards the light
It’s stem grows tall
It’s leaves stretch wide
And I can see it’s petals
Are curled up tight inside
I sing to it each day
On my sunny windowsill
And soon my seedling blooms into
A yellow Daffodil
