Ralph Keefer - Mancave

Woke up this morning feelin' fine
Cleaned the dishes and put away the wine
Fold some laundry, and put the kettle on
Wiped the counters and swept the porch
And scrubbed the toilets with my rubber gloves, of course
Yes sir, cleaning house is just my kind of day

Slice some peaches and quarter some pears
Grab a meal tray and head up the stairs
'Morning sweetheart', as I gently open the door
She sticks her head out from under the sheets
Doesn't see the breakfast or the chocolate treats
Honey, what's that sock doing on the bedroom floor?

Man cave (Where I take my lumps)
Man cave (Haven't vacuumed in months)
Man cave, where a man is free, talking to the trees, in his man cave

Went out to dinner just the other night
Had a shirt and collar on, and was lookin just right
Met some friends - and had a mighty good time!
Got home and turned the TV on
Cuddled to another episode of "Husbands gone wrong"
Fire's burnin, it just might be the night

Lit some candles and turned down the sheets
Smiled and watched as she started washing her feet
Always a good sign - yup tonight will be the night
Stroked her shoulders and rubbed her back
Tickled her ears, oh, I like doing that
Honey, is that sock still on the bedroom floor?

Man cave (Back in the penalty box)
Man Cave, ('Cause of those damn socks)
Man cave, where a man is free talking to the trees in his man cave
A man is free mumbling to the trees in his man cave
Mumble mumble mumble
