This is a dream I started heading towards on may 6th
It feels like it was yesterday I still remember it
I sat down and told my parents about the plan
I told them college wasn't working I just wasn't that man
I told them that I was gonna grind and change my generation
The life I want is a dream like permanent vacation
I wasn't the same kid back in the day playing on that pavement
The character change is what he really needed though
He needed to grow up and get a new style
He plotted and scheme it and look at him now
He thought back to them earlier days
Washing those dishes and getting no plays
Now he knows he can make a difference
By more than talking about religion and pigment
