Swing to Divine - Mindful

The Book of Psalms
Chapter Eight, Verse Four

And I wonder
Why are people so important to You
Why do You even think about them
Why do You care so much about humans
Why do You even notice them

Who am I, that You are mindful of me

What is man that You are mindful of him
And the son of earthborn man
That You care for him

What are mere mortals
That You should think about them
Human beings that You should care for them

Who am I, that You are mindful of me

What is man, that Thou art mindful of him
And the son of man, that Thou visitest him

Who am I, that You are mindful of me

What is man that You are mindful of him
And the son of man that You care for him

Who am I, that You are mindful of me

What is man that You are mindful of him
And the son of man that You visit him

Who am I, that You are mindful of me

I look at my micro-self and wonder
Why do You bother with us
Why take a second look our way

Who am I, that You are mindful of me

What is man that You are mindful of him
And the son of man that You care for him
