Lowgazer - Mitosis

Fading through, solid matter
I attain my perfect form
Free at last, I am, free at last
Not afraid of the dark

The soft breeze and the seasons, I watch them change without warning
And they left a little man in my brain in a state of perpetual mourning
In that dreamscape, i had escaped
Only to accept a new type of chain

And i had never considered the sound, of thunder underwater
The way the waves would rise and crash
The skies would split apart with a gigawatt lightning flash
I no longer feared the dark
But this is the start of a perfect storm

Now i'm caught between, two different peoples dreams
Palpable, my misery
Codependence and apathy
The mortar of the structure surrounding me

Fading through, solid matter
I attain my perfect form
Free at last, i am free at last
Not afraid of the dark

And i'm running fast from my past
Lost out at sea,
And I never meant to be
Just a feather bent out by the breeze
Am i ever going to leave
Like a leaf floating down a violent stream?

I'll remain where i was always meant to be
A faded footnote on the pages of your memories
Forsaken memories

We are dying for a new life

I am haunted by a non-existent ghost
Emotional parasite, i play the part of the host

I watched it's cells divide in the sun
Cellular mitosis, two from one

The soft breeze and the seasons
They change without warning
They leave the little man in my brain in such mourning
And now i lay upon the stairs because i caught
Her lying to my face, lying to my face

Fading through, solid matter
I attain my perfect form

Did the geometric planes of my frame not appease
Said you saw diamonds in my eyes, why the fuck did you leave

I played the part of the host
I watched two cells divide in the sun
Two came from one
