The Zeke - Nearing Home
Time's come around made uneven things level
Now comes a time making crooked roads straight
Details uncovered, hiding inside your devil
Only you along, can end all this hate
Valleys in shadows, lit up and uplifted
Every high place will soon be made low
Rocks are ground down then the grounds are re-sifted
What's been kept hidden is beginning to show
I'm growing old wondering where is my wisdom
I always believed it came as we age
Just goes to show life's light comes through your prism
And bending life's light will always bring change
Go into the country, prepare your own highway
Though it may seem like blind leading blind
Seek those in need who can't find their own way
Help those you meet and you'll be paid back in kind
Your nearing your home, it's a short way to go
You've had enough time to learn what you need
Decisions await with the treasures you know now
Should've already written your personal creed
I'm growing old wondering where is my wisdom
I always believed it came as we age
Life's light bent in another direction
With twisted refractions I'm hoping to gauge
