Four Low - Neverland
I don't think that I'm ready to start this chapter
They didn't cover this in school
All of the things I'm running after
Are what I'm told I shouldn't do
I miss the streetlamp, shining through my window
I also miss the thought of you
I take my cap and gown and notebooks
And ask the world what its got for me to do
And I don't want to burn out
But I'm fighting on my own
I'm holding on but there's only so long
That I can fight alone
So I raise the colors high
And brace for another round
The battles in my mind outweigh the battles on the ground
My ship is nearly sinking and I don't know what to do
And now I'm going down without a first mate and a crew
When the waves get twisted
And the sky is pouring rain
I'll trust the wind and I will stand
As I fight the tide to Neverland
(Ooooo)
Sometimes I feel like I've tried it all before
Sometimes I think of something new
Right now I'm floating and I'm tired of direction
Because it makes me think of you
And I don't want to burn out
But I'm fighting on my own
I'm holding on but there's only so long
That I can fight alone
So I raise the colors high
And brace for another round
The battles in my mind outweigh the battles on the ground
My ship is nearly sinking and I don't know what to do
And now I'm going down without a first mate and a crew
When the waves get twisted
And the sky is pouring rain
I'll trust the wind and I will stand
As I fight the tide to Neverland
