Tragedy in Hope - Nightmare Lullaby

A lonely headstone above a grave
It has no form or exact date
But I tried to get up
As if in a bad dream... I saw there my name
Dark silhouettes gathered in a circle
Long, thin hands, empty eyes
They started to sing a nightmare lullaby
And dance by the grave, laugh in my face, ha-ha-ha
I couldn't move, I couldn't scream
I could only hear voices
Whispering in my ears
A lonely headstone
It has no form or exact date
But there is my name
I struggle to keep awake, listening to a nightmare lullaby
This phantom madness
Haunts only in darkness
If shadowy shapes are trying to get closer
Don't let them fool you
Cause they pretend to be malicious by looking like true monsters
Only to scare you, boo
I swallowed at the bait with great joy
Now their hands are reaching out for my throat
The bony fingers squeezed it at once
It feels like I breathe under water like a fish
A freshly dug grave
It has no form or exact place
But it's warm like a bed
I am falling asleep, listening to a nightmare lullaby
Rock-a-bye, deadman, rock-a-bye
Dry your eyes, there is no need to cry
Do not fear, you cannot hide
Just relax and enjoy the ride
High up in the sky
When the wind blows, the stars shine
And the moon sings in the night
Rock-a-bye, deadman, rock-a-bye
Down will come your body, coffin and all
No one will save the last sparks of a fading hope
But how could I know
There is no bottom when you fall
Now I am lying six feet under the stars
Watching dark shadows dancing by my own grave
No pillows and blankets in the lonely bed
Only the wet in the cold grave
But it can't be the end
I fell asleep, listening to a nightmare lullaby
