Braden Rozell - No School

I see the wind blow
I put my hands on the glass and look through the window
No grass in sight, seeing that it snowed
This the whole reason I like when it gets cold
It's 10th grade, I'll do what my influence say so
The clouds dropping snow and I'm hoping it makes loads
So much snow that the buses will lay low
And I can get together with friends and stay home

The only rare occasion where I'm home and not sick
A world to learn, my time is not it
The only thing I know is how to catch a football with my chest all because my winter gloves is too slick
The boots don't move quick, my hands have no grip
But I'm having a blast

I see the wind blow
I put my hands on the glass and look through the window
No grass in sight, seeing that it snowed
This the whole reason I like when it gets cold
It's 10th grade, I'll do what my influence say so
The clouds dropping snow and I'm hoping it makes loads
So much snow that the buses will lay low
And I can get together with friends and stay home

I feel like I'm living cautious, always trusted in my conscience
I always spoke up I felt like I witnessed nonsense
A snow day was so great but never often
Those days hold some times that I get lost in
Back when the world consumed everything in my youth
Back when I had my braces, I hated my missing tooth
Back with my friend Sanket, I recorded in his booth
Back when I met Jarvis at the Y when I'd hoop
Original duos partner balling out on season two
Back when my mouth was always running in loops
Back on the court I wrote my initial into
The world was so hidden, I never had known the truth
Without God I don't really know what I would do
And I'm having a blast

The winter mornings when we had no school
Those the days where everything was cool
The snow would touch ground, I'd score touchdowns
I'm in no better mood
The winter mornings when we had no school

I see the wind blow
I put my hands on the glass and look through the window
No grass in sight, seeing that it snowed
This the whole reason I like when it gets cold
It's 10th grade, I'll do what my influence say so
The clouds dropping snow and I'm hoping it makes loads
So much snow that the buses will lay low
And I can get together with friends and stay home
And I'm having a blast
