Muhaned - Orphan Age

I lost my balance at a young age I know everything except the unknown those were my best days
Further I go I seem to capture worries instead of moments my livelihood seems to worsen
At my orphan age I learned the difference between the wrongs and the wrongs that pay
Nothing but hardships and growing pains to accumulate
Crispy bread on top of the heater to help us fall asleep stay awake
I watch my hunger take the centre stage
This road was hardly paved full of bricks that cement my pain
Learn to live with the outcome as long as we don't separate gate keepers behind orphanage closed gates
Ricochets taught me to accept my fate count my days
Even through this maze hard for me to find my hidden place
Bully ways rely on the weak for my aid
Runaway just to find myself viewing the outside through my cage
Lead astray fled the scene without a single trace
Celebrate consume the outcome before karma find it's way
Back to feed off of my empty plate no time to say your grace embrace the trauma that awaits me
Go get what's meant to be yours forget about your prayers
Two wrongs don't make a right but they even out the weight
Isolate from beggars that circulate predators posing as prey
Forcefully grab yours and learn to maintain
Heavily sedated tell young me I made it
You don't have to search for the home you weren't raised in
No longer do you have to feel you owe nobody favours
Everything you worked for wasn't given you created
Tunnel vision on your goals stay dedicated
You were meant to stand out stop trying to find a placement
Committed to the process in the making found my way back to Layth even though we separated
